Permanent, Full-Time
Role Overview: Greys Specialist Recruitment is partnering with the Government of Jersey to recruit a Specialist Physiotherapist for an Acute Assessment Unit in Jersey. This role is ideal for a Band 6/7 equivalent clinician looking for a high-salary permanent move to a collaborative, forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.
Unlike traditional cardiorespiratory roles, this position offers a diverse clinical mix. You will be working across acute and frailty pathways, handling a blend of medical, elderly care, and cardiorespiratory cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Case Management: Independently assess and deliver tailored interventions for adults with complex frailty and cardiorespiratory presentations.
Ward-Based Care: Primarily focused on ward care and patient flow, with a mix of orthopaedic, neurological, and medical rehab.
Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to one junior colleague/rotational staff member.
MDT Collaboration: Work closely with psychologists, social workers, and doctors to ensure holistic, patient-centred care.
Service Development: Contribute to audits, CPD, and service improvements within the Cardiorespiratory pathway.
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration (Jersey Care Commission registration will be required).
Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in a relevant specialist area (Acute/Medical/Frailty).
ICU experience is highly desirable, though the role is primarily ward-based.
